From one of Champagne’s most sought-after grower-producers, Cédric Bouchard’s Rosés de Jeanne bottlings have become modern cult classics. Produced from a single Pinot Noir vineyard with tiny yields and no dosage, the 2022 Côte de Val Vilaine combines vivid red fruit, chalky minerality, and the precision and finesse that define Bouchard’s style.

Vinous | 93 Points

"The 2022 Blanc de Noirs Val Vilaine is a pretty, open-knit offering from Cédric Bouchard. Rich and layered, with lovely up-front appeal, the 2022 edition is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Pear, kirsch, white flowers and mint are beautifully layered. This is an especially fine edition of the Val Vilaine, a Champagne that will give readers a very good look at Bouchard's distinctive style at a price that won't totally break the bank. No dosage. Disgorged: April 2024."

From one of Champagne’s most sought-after grower-producers, Cédric Bouchard’s Rosés de Jeanne bottlings are modern cult classics.

The Côte de Val Vilaine comes from a single 1.5-hectare vineyard in his home village of Celles-sur-Ource, planted entirely to Pinot Noir and farmed with obsessive precision.

With some of the lowest yields in Champagne and only the first press used, production is just a few hundred cases a year.

The 2022 release shows immediate charm: pear, kirsch, white flowers, wrapped around vivid red fruits of wild strawberry and raspberry with chalk and spice underneath. Pinot Noir depth meets Bouchard’s hallmark finesse - precise bubbles, crisp acidity, and a vinous, almost Burgundian texture.

Rare, soil-driven, and uncompromisingly pure without any dosage, this is Champagne for collectors and drinkers alike.

Every step of the journey is managed with one goal in mind: protecting the integrity of each bottle from our cellar to your doorstep.
