Musigny isn’t just a vineyard - it’s a legend

Musigny is one of the very best vineyards in Burgundy, the origin of some of the world's most exclusive wines. Domaine Comte de Vogue, Lalou-Bize-Leroy, George Roumier and Mugnier all produce side by side here.

Le Musigny measures a total of 10.8 hectares, of which Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier has 1.1 hectares. From here, Mugnier's Musigny is produced in tiny amounts, with annual production between 2,000 - 5,000 bottles.

2012 was one of Mugnier’s highest-rated vintages, with top marks across the board. Antonio Galloni called it “one of the wines of the year”

Even Allen Meadows couldn’t hold back: “Of the hundreds of 2012s I revisited on this trip, there were exactly three I swallowed rather than spit out - and this was one of them. A ‘wow’ wine if there ever was one.”
