Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello is one of America’s most iconic Bordeaux blends, famously earning global recognition from the 1976 Judgment of Paris. The legendary 1997 vintage layers cassis, dried red cherry, cedar, and Santa Cruz mountain driven freshness and acidity.

Ridge Monte Bello is an American icon. Since 1885, perched in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Ridge has built a legacy making this Bordeaux blend, earning 5th place at the ‘76 Judgment of Paris to winning the rematch in 2006.

Known for bold ripe fruit and balanced tannins, it’s one of the decade’s finest. In the glass you'll get cassis, dried cherry, cedar, and all tied together with a vibrant acidity that begs you to sear up a steak and pour another glass.
