JF93+ "The 2014 Clos de la Maréchale is also superb, as again, the very elegant profile of the vintage works perfectly with this terroir. The outstanding nose jumps from the glass in a very pure blend of red and black cherries, pomegranate, cocoa, a superb base of soil, violets and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, pure, and full-bodied, with excellent transparency, suave tannins, a sappy core and excellent length and grip on the tangy and youthful finish."
