Since taking over the family domaine in the late 1980s, he’s become a master of the lieu-dit - vinifying each parcel individually to showcase its unique character. His wines don’t chase weight or richness. Instead, they deliver crystalline precision, racy acidity, and a mineral backbone that makes them some of the most age-worthy whites in Burgundy.

Minimal new oak, gentle bâtonnage, and an obsessive focus on terroir define Roulot’s style. While Meursault is often known for power and roundness, Roulot rewrote the playbook with a leaner, more electric approach - one that’s become the benchmark for elegance in the village.
