Méo-Camuzet, one of Vosne-Romanée’s most celebrated domaines, holds prized parcels in Clos de Vougeot’s top lieux-dits - Grand Mapertuis and Près du Cellier. From this historic Grand Cru, Jean-Nicolas Méo crafts wines of concentration, perfume, and balance that reward both patience and early drinking.

The 2016 is unusually refined for Clos de Vougeot. Floral aromatics lift red berries, spice, earth, and subtle oak. On the palate, it combines density with elegance - sappy dark cherry, licorice, herbs, and stony minerality - before finishing long, balanced, and less austere than usual.

Critic Stephen Tanzer (95 points) praised its “brilliant combination of charm and power,” while other critics noted its finesse and earlier approachability.
