"The 2015 Saint-Aubin Clos de la Chatenière 1er Cru has a crisp, earthy, almost zen bouquet that is more like a 2014 than a 2015. I appreciate the terroir expression here - you can sense the wine’s birthplace coming through with aeration. The nuanced palate is very well balanced and precise in style, displaying a fine bead of acidity and a gorgeous, lightly spiced, edgy, sappy finish that urges you back for another sip. Outstanding for the vintage. Highly recommended. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting."
