One of the standout wines from a Napa vintage that defied expectations. Powerful yet elegant, with a decade of bottle age now revealing real complexity and polish. A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Pritchard Hill, drinking beautifully today with room left to grow.

Pritchard Hill's steep volcanic slopes are the backbone of Bryant Family's flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced entirely from the estate vineyard above Lake Hennessey.

2015 was a tricky Napa vintage, an early, compressed harvest shaped by a warm spring and a light crop

But a recent retrospective tasting by professional critics singled out Bryant as one of the handful of 2015s that turned those odds into something special, calling it powerful yet elegant with a decade of bottle age now bringing out tempting aromatics and spicy nuance.

The wine received huge praise on release for its polish and structure, with a tightly wound, muscular backbone built to reward patience. A decade later, that structure has started to soften and open up, delivering a drinking window right now while still holding plenty in reserve for further aging.

James Suckling | 99 Points

"Glorious aromas of perfumes, rose petals and currants. Lavender and violets. Full-bodied and dense. A rich center palate with polished and velvety tannins. Layered and gorgeous. A cylinder of fruit with firm and silky tannins, which drive the wine."

Wine Advocate | 97 - 99 Points

"Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is closed and largely unyielding at this very youthful stage. With coaxing, it offers up black cherries, crushed blackberries and mulberries notes with hints of pencil lead, damp soil, truffles, licorice and dark chocolate plus a waft of cigar boxes. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is as tight as anything, displaying a rock-solid backbone of taut, grainy tannins and plenty of freshness to support the muscular fruit, finishing with earth and mineral layers."
