"This brilliant effort just seems to move from strength to strength with its positively sublime aromas of ripe yet elegant dark berry fruit, plum, spice, violet and sandalwood-infused nose. The highly seductive, concentrated and notably powerful mineral-inflected medium full flavors are underpinned by a notably firm tannic spine on the velvety, highly complex and stunningly long finish where the only nit is a hint of warmth. The mid-palate sap completely buffers the dusty tannins and this should be capable of at least another decade of improvement and perhaps even longer. This overtly powerful and built-to-live-for-decades effort delivers grand cru quality and I wouldn't touch a bottle for at least another 5 years. In sum, this is reference standard Fuées."
