The 2012 Château Haut-Brion Blanc is one of the world’s rarest dry whites, produced in tiny quantities from a small vineyard in Pessac-Léognan. A near equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, it layers citrus, stone fruit, white flowers, and smoky minerality over a deep, silky texture and long polished finish.

A rare opportunity to secure 2012 Château Haut-Brion Blanc, one of the most sought after dry whites in the world, produced in extremely limited quantities of fewer than 600 cases per year.

Sourced from a tiny vineyard of just under 3 hectares in Pessac Léognan, the wine is a near equal blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon. This combination delivers both intensity and texture, with Sauvignon bringing lift and aromatics, while Sémillon adds richness and that signature almost silky, layered mouthfeel that sets Haut Brion Blanc apart.

The 2012 is drinking beautifully today, showing a perfect balance between youthful energy and early maturity. Expect vibrant citrus, stone fruit, white flowers, and a subtle smoky minerality, all wrapped in a deep, textured palate with a long, polished finish.

Scarcity is the story here. Very little is made, even less survives in pristine condition, and demand continues to climb as more collectors discover just how age worthy and compelling great white Bordeaux can be.

"Easily the top wine of Pessac-Léognan, the 2012 from Haut-Brion has extraordinary flesh and intensity, with an unctuousness and thickness that is almost hard to believe for a dry white wine. The high proportion of Semillon in this blend has given the wine an almost liquid mandarin orange note intermixed with caramelized citrus, honeysuckle, fig and crushed rock. This absolutely profound dry white wine is full-bodied and capable of lasting 40-50 years. Drink 2015-2065."
