2018 Agrapart Champagne, Grand Cru Mineral, Blanc de Blancs, Extra Brut, Bottle (750mL)

Crafted from two prized vineyard parcels - Bionnes in Cramant and Champbouton in Avize - Minéral is a stunning example of Chardonnay Champagne grown on pure chalk soils. These Grand Cru sites feature a thin topsoil layer over deep chalk subsoil, a terroir renowned for producing mineral-rich, precise Champagne.

A portion of the base wine is fermented in oak barrels, adding subtle complexity, creamy texture, and depth. The extended lees aging in bottle enhances the profile with delicate notes of brioche, butter, and almond, while preserving the purity of the chalky minerality.

This low-dosage Champagne (3g/L) is disgorged just 2 months before release to maintain freshness. On the nose, expect lemon zest, crushed stones, and bitter almond. On the palate, it’s saline, structured, and vibrant, with racy acidity and a long, linear finish that speaks clearly of its Grand Cru origins.

These vineyards have 40+ year old vines and produce the most mineral-driven, laser-like wine of the Agrapart lineup.
