Château Latour is one of Bordeaux’s true icons, and the 2015 shows the estate at its best: powerful, polished, and incredibly precise. Built around nearly all Cabernet Sauvignon, this blockbuster Pauillac layers crème de cassis, graphite, tobacco, and rocky minerality into a wine Antonio Galloni called “totally captivating,” with the structure to evolve for decades but enough richness to tempt us right now!

Antonio Galloni | 98+ Points

"A seamless, totally captivating wine, the 2015 Latour has no beginning and no end, it simply exists in its own little world of pure and total harmony. Nothing is out of place. Instead, the 2015 captivates both the intellectual and hedonistic senses with its remarkable aromatic depth and textural brilliance. Exotic in its ripeness, with tremendous persistence and dazzling balances, the 2015 really does have it all.The 2015 is 97.1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.6% Merlot and 0.3% Petit Verdot. Don't miss it."

Château Latour is one of Bordeaux’s most iconic estates - a true First Growth - and 2015 is a heavenly wine showing both its muscle and precision.

A warm, dry growing season delivered beautifully ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, while Latour’s deep gravel soils kept everything fresh and focused. Expect classic Latour notes of crème de cassis, graphite, tobacco, and rocky minerality, with just a hint of the vintage’s riper, more seductive side.

By this point, Latour was fully committed to holding wines back at the château before release, favoring a more balanced and ready wine over speed to market. The 2015 is full-bodied but tight and controlled, with fine, building tannins and a long, confident finish.

Still young, but already dangerously drinkable with some air, this is a long-haul Pauillac with decades ahead of it.
